Counselling Support at Masjid Noor

Your masjid is more than a congregation of prayer — it is a community hub.

Masjid Noor is committed to supporting our community beyond worship. We understand that life can become overwhelming, and at times you may need someone to talk to in confidence. We aim to provide a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where you can seek guidance, support, and reassurance during difficult moments.

Counselling & Mental Wellbeing

Mental health challenges are often misunderstood or left unspoken within our community. This can lead to individuals suffering in silence.

At Masjid Noor, we want to break this stigma by encouraging open conversation and offering support rooted in compassion, dignity, and understanding.

Seeking help is a positive step towards healing and wellbeing.

What Is Counselling?

Counselling provides a safe space to talk about emotional, personal, or mental health difficulties. It helps you feel heard and supported, and can guide you towards the right help and next steps.

Who Will I Speak To?

You can speak to a senior member at the masjid who will listen with care. Where appropriate, we can guide you towards professional services and ongoing support.

Can I Request a Female Therapist?

Yes. We can direct you to trained female therapists where required.

When Should I Reach Out?

If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, low, or struggling to cope, please reach out. You do not need to wait until things feel unbearable.
